What we address

Hypnotherapy for...

As we grow you develop automatic and subconscious patterns of thinking and behaving.

From the day we are born to the day we die, we're constantly scanning and interacting with the world around us. How we process stuff shapes who we are, and who we are shapes how we process stuff!

In your own life you might be feeling just a little niggle or maybe you believe everything is completely f#cked up. Maybe you're stuck on something that happened a long time ago, or maybe you're anxious about something happening later this week. You might simply be getting frustrated about not being able to do something you’d normally do (like making a simple decision), or maybe you don’t like how your own or someone else’s behaviour affects you and those close to you. Or perhaps you just want to get ‘better’ at something… public speaking, sport, living healthier, parenting, and so on.

Whatever it it is it won't be the first time and it won't be the last, because there will always be bad sh!t happening in the world!

You will always be constantly having to deal with challenging situations. There will always be obstacles in your way. It's how you react to these things that determines how you feel and what you do with your life.

If for some reason you become overwhelmed or unable to process things effectively, you will find yourself running one or more patterns like those below. These can become automatic and subconscious responses that you may not be consciously aware of, or you may not be able to address on your own:

Rumination
Reliving and dwelling upon negative experiences that occurred in the past.
Self Soothing
Distracting yourself with food, alcohol, devices, exercise, etc.
Anxiety
Worrying about what may (or may not) happen in the future.
Procrastination
Avoiding responsibility by habitually or deliberately putting things off.
Catastrophisation
Assuming that the worst possible outcome will occur.
Blame
Believing everything is someone else's fault and out of your control.
Label Identification
Identifying with or blaming a label or diagnosis, eg. "It's my anxiety".
Phobia & Fear
Having irrational fears
Insomnia
Not being able to sleep because you're too wired or too worried.
NOTE: These are just a few examples only, not an exhaustive list.
